Being part of a social environment where we are continuously challenged and influenced by external factors can really have a strong effect on our life. As individuals, we devote a lot of time integrating in different communities and groups to belong and create bonds which influence our sense of identity. It’s important however to understand that the only validation you need is your own. Our reality is shaped completely based on our own perception. How we see the world is a choice influenced by our internal state, manifesting itself externally. If you understand this concept, you will also agree that everyone has their own unique reality based on their internal state. So then why would you try to change this? It’s simply impossible because the self will see what the self believes in. It is not your job to challenge or change anybody’s way of viewing the world. What you need to focus on is the way YOU view the world, on how you can be the best version of yourself for you and how you can live to your true purpose so that you can impact your world the way you’d like to see it.

  1. If it’s important enough to you, then you will get it done. It’s simple. Listen to feedback as it can be useful, but don’t necessarily change your view based on what others think (unless it’s for your own good).
  2. Understand that everybody has a way of perceiving life based on their internal state and it is not your job to change that.
  3. Focus on finding self-awareness, because with it comes self-confidence and you need that in order to believe in yourself.
  4. Let go of trying to please others because you will never win at that. We are continuously evolving and your focus should be on that and not what others think about what you are doing.
  5. Embrace your uniqueness and see it as your strength. When you start doing this, you will expand your vision beyond what you think is possible.
  6. Know that when you are on your way to achieve bigger goals, others may not understand these as you are elevating to a new level.
  7. Your job is to wake up everyday and be the best you can be for yourself, so that you can live to your true purpose and impact your life, therefore the world you live in including your environment and others around you.
  8. Compassion is about being kind to yourself so that you can be kind to others around you. When you find self-love, the universe will give you love back because what you are projecting is simply that.
  9. Don’t wait for others to approve your choices, because even if they do, they will never truly understand the why as well as you do. This applies the other way, you don’t need to voice or approve what others chose to do. You can provide feedback, but not impose your opinion.
  10. Surround yourself with people of all kinds, but never lose your authenticity based on what they see or would like to see in you. Forming successful social bonds is about learning to accept that everybody is different, and that you don’t need to react to it. Simply accept it and focus on continuously being kind to yourself for then you will project this onto others.
